 CAREER BACKGROUND - PIERRE BOIVIN Pierre Boivin has more than thirty years experience in business, specficially in the areas of marketing, communications, administration and management. Over the past 25 years, Pierre has held high-ranking posts in the air transport sector, the energy sector, the health industry, and in private consultancy. During this period he has had the opportunity to manage several major projects linked to business development and organizational change. A graduate of Concordia University in administration and marketing, Pierre is a member of the Quebec Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec. He has holds the title of PMP (Project Management Professional) frm the Project Management Institute. Over the course of his career, Pierre has led more than 400 project management seminars in Quebec, Ontario and in the Canadian Maritimes. He has also lectured in the United States, and given conferences in France. He now devotes his professional time to consulting in the area of business project management. He acts principally as a consultant to upper management, a member of steering committees in corporate projects, and/or as coach to project managers. He also contributes to the Project Management teaching program at the Université Laval in Quebec City. |
